For the biscuits
  • 320gr flour
  • 50gr white sugar
  • 200gr brown sugar
  • 140gr unsalted butter
  • 1/2tsp baking soda
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2tsp vanilla essence
For the decorative icing sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 120gr white sugar
  1. Turn on the oven to heat at 170 C.
  2. Add flour, white sugar, brown sugar, baking soda and salt into the bowl, and mix well.
  3. Add the butter. Using a whisk, whisk the butter with the flour mixture.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, continue whisking with a whisk until the ingredients are combined into a thick, slightly soft, moist mixture.
  5. Divide the dough into small pieces, roll into balls about 20 - 25gr.
  6. Arrange the dough balls on a tray lined with baking paper. The distance between the dough balls is 3-4cm.
  7. Put in oven, bake for 15 minutes.
  8. After the biscuits are cooked, they will be soft, leave them on the tray or on a flat dish to fix the shape.
  9. When the biscuits are cool, crunchy, put them in a covered lid.
  10. Place the biscuit jar in a cool dry place and you can keep the biscuits for 1 month.
