Sausage with tomato sauce

  • 4 fresh sausages
  • 3 tomatoes(~420 Gr)
  • 100gr onions
  • 5tsp tomato sauce(bottled type)
  • water
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 4-5branches thyme
  • 50ml oilive oil
  1. Slice tomatoes into wedges. Dice onions.
  2. In a deep saucepan, add olive oil, onions, tomatoes and 2 branches of thyme, stir until the onions and tomatoes are done.
  3. Add the sausages. Add water until water nearly covers the sausages. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, simmer until tomatoes and onions are softened. Add water if needed. Continue to boil until the water is drained and the paste is slightly thickened.
  4. Season with salt to taste.
  5. You can use the blender to puree the mixture if you prefer finer sauces.
  6. Sprinkle pepper and garnish with thyme.
