Sticky rice with fish stew

Ingredients
  • 1piece mackerel fish(~400gr)
  • 3-4pieces pineapple
  • 1 shallot
  • 2tsp cooking oil
  • fish sauce
  • pepper
  • brown coconut sauce
  • water
Instructions
  1. Wash the fish. Shred shallot.
  2. Add cooking oil and shallot into a small saucepan. Stir fry shallot until fragrant.
  3. Add the mackerel, add fish sauce to 1/2 the thickness of the fish piece. Add filtered water to the surface of the fish.
  4. Add some pepper and a few drops of brown coconut sauce, stir until dissolved in the fish sauce.
  5. Boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer until the water mostly drain. Turn off the heat. You can add water or fish sauce to taste before draining.
  6. Serve with sticky rice.
